Washington DC, our nation’s fine capital for the past hundred years. Well, in the early days the capital was in Philadelphia, but it was moved down south later due to a compromise with the southern states. I unfortunately only had about an hour in this lovely city to try to see as much as I could in, and therefore just barely scratched the surface. Beyond the National Mall, there’s also many other monuments, the White House, the Smithsonian, and the gorgeous and quaint Georgetown. But until next time, this’ll have to do. Here’s my trip to DC in pictures.
