Mexico as a whole is full of amazing food but Tulum is on a whole new level. With amazing food literally around every corner, it might be difficult to choose which places to eat at. There’s handmade pasta, cheap but authentic tacos, and açai bowls galore! That’s where this guide comes in: I’ll show you where to eat in Tulum from cheap budget places to high-end meals!
The Real Coconut - Sanara
The food here was absolutely phenomenal! All sorts of Mexican cuisine, from tacos to nachos to ceviche, all with a fabulous ocean view to go along with it.

Antojitos La Chiapaneca
This is the best spot for tacos in all of Tulum, and best of all, it’s super affordable! Order amazing Al Pastor tacos and then head to the back for sauces and toppings.

Raw Love
This vegan spot is surprisingly delicious, even if you’ve an avid non-vegan like me. The açai bowls were great and the raw pad thai was really good, if not authentic!

Origami Gelato
With two locations on Beach Road South, Origami Gelato was my favorite gelato place in Tulum! They offer a number of amazing flavors such as Ferrero Rocher ice cream, and the texture of the gelato itself could not be more delightful.

Posada Margherita
If you’re really craving Italian food while in Tulum, then this is the place to go. The pasta is made on site and they frequently hire actual Italian workers to get an authentic Italian meal. However, I’ve heard that there’s often a line here!

Macondo at Nômade
The decor here is probably the main draw – it gives off mad Moroccan vibes! But the food is good, catered to vegans and vegetarians and still delicious.

La Popular at Nômade
Tulum has many beachfront restaurants, but in my opinion, this one is the prettiest. You sit on cushions on the sand while the ocean breeze plays with your hair and eat delicious seafood at the same time.

I Scream Bar
The most popular ice cream place in town, I Scream Bar serves vegan ice cream with a side of quirky aesthetics. As the name implies, it is also a bar, so its a great place to sit and hang out for a few.
